Hello and welcome to my website! I’m Rene, a single lady with a passion for making my mark on the world, currently living in beautiful Table View, Western Cape. By day, I work in Killarney Gardens handling accounts (debtors and creditors), sales, logistics, and IT at a company where I wear many hats. While I love what I do, I’ve always wanted to explore different avenues, and for the past 12 years, I’ve been doing just that!

My journey began after completing school in December 1998. From 1996 to 2003, I worked as a Hostess and head waitress at a coffee shop in Richards Bay, where I developed a love for interacting with people. In 2003, I made the life-changing decision to move to Cape Town, and I haven’t looked back since—it truly feels like home, and I can’t imagine being anywhere else.

In 2004, I worked as a waitron at a coffee shop in Table View, where my professional network began to grow. That same year, I joined Avon as a representative and instantly fell in love with their products and the chance to connect with others. Around the same time, I joined a local manufacturing company, taking on the roles of Sales Manager, Accounts Manager, Logistics Manager, Telecommunications Manager, and IT Manager—responsibilities that helped shape my career.

Throughout my journey, I kept busy with side ventures, including managing the floor of a coffee shop from 2007 to 2011 and starting my virtual bookkeeping business, Xtreme-Virtual, in 2013. In 2014, I began working as a virtual assistant, helping small businesses streamline their operations.

In 2015, I discovered a passion for crafting, particularly handmade jewelry. This led to the launch of my creative business, RS Crafts, allowing me to express my artistic side. That same year, I ventured into network marketing with Amway, where I remained until 2017.

I continued to sign up clients for virtual bookkeeping and expanded my reach by joining CareCard as a networker in 2017. My love for Avon never wavered, and in 2018, I rejoined as a representative. I also became the On-site Manageress at a guesthouse in Table View that same year, a role I still hold. By 2019, I became a Leader with Avon, and Sensational Collections by Rene was born—a business that continues to thrive today.

As my entrepreneurial spirit grew, I needed to help others build their businesses. In 2019, I began offering Creative Design and Printing Services, helping friends and colleagues with flyers, business cards, labels, and other marketing materials. I also became a Senior Consultant with Herbalife, a partnership that ended in 2023.

Managing all these passions and businesses simultaneously was challenging, but I’ve always believed in finding ways to streamline and improve. Today, I’m proud to operate everything under one umbrella company: Heksie’s Emporium. It’s a space where all my ventures come together, and it’s been an exciting journey ever since!
